horribleville-deactivated201403 asked: I wish your posts showed up on my dash more often, for some reason I always miss them
I post at weird and wrong times. I also post all the comics and drawings I post here on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/87888745@N00/ I hate the self-serving tone of this post, but there is no turning back now.

Denver put his concrete slab up on the outdoor washing machine, and he hung his walking papers on the clothesline. It was not going to be a long mental journey to figure out just what he was going to do next, for Denver knew he was tired of that New England washroom and he had things to do. When Denver was five years old, he wrote a list of exactly what his life was going to consist of, from the age of six to ninety-four. A pre-conceived life was tender and nice. Denver put his belongings in a burlap sack, tipped his hat to the clothes captain, and walked into the night. The moon looked like a testicle, Denver thought… not one of a pair, just a single cartoon testicle. He did not think of this as a vulgar thought, or a comedic thought. He was serious and he meant it and it was worth noting. Denver knew that he would be walking along the highway for sometime, and it would be a very lightly populated highway and there would be covered bridges that were burning. Denver knew that he would soon be working as a night clerk at the Sally Forth deli in Bridgeford, Connecticut. Denver believed in what he called the “slice of life singsong,” which was a code name for avoiding any and all interaction with people for as long as possible. But Denver never thought of it as any sort of serious act, but a fun novelty in which would finally come to a close when Denver turned ninety-four, and his ship would sink a thousand miles.

Update for anonymous: I believe the brown VHS is not a holy bible, but a stack of comic books. That entire stack on the right is made of comics and mini comics. It’s disgusting. Anyway, anonymous, I just want you to know that my holy bible is on the other side and it was given to me by strangers when I graduated high school. I have had it for years. You can’t throw away a bible. Would you like it?

Sorry, sometimes my internet obsession goes mindlessly overboard.

Anonymous asked: What is the brown cased VHS 4 or 5 up from the bottom of the stack?

Anonymous asked: i like your comics but i'm curious about all the hate, violence and fear they show towards women and sex in general. why so much hatin' on the lady ducks?
l feel like the lady ducks treat the men ducks much worse, generally. I think they probably get equal share of the abuse. It’s just about people treating each other badly; it’s not a gender thing. It just happens to be really fun to draw offensive “sexy” ducks but you’ll notice I draw the men the same way, with drooping penises and exposed poorly drawn chests. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone – I never have any idea how the comics will be received. I can’t imagine anyone reading them. Out-of-context pages on tumblr is probably the worst way to read any comic. But I probably should work on obvious issues that lay deep and rampant.
P.S. If you are specifically referring to the “Boardinghouse Reach” pages, the whole point is that the abuse of the lady bird is building up to a table-turn, but comics are slow and the internet is fast.

spiritualinversion-deactivated2 asked: woah, you go to CCS? Im at wayne for art myself. I guess when you like someone's art you assume they are some far off cloudy pencil god. ps. really enjoyed the cop's baptism. you have a way with wordz.
I went from 2006 to 2008. Thanks for the compliment. I know what you mean about the far off and cloudy. I assume nothing is real.

sleepyneuf asked: "I wish I was a 70-year-old failed underground cartoonist"- yeah, that's what I was thinking. Well, not failed. Hah, I'm older than you when I thought you were 40 years my senior. The world has shattered. It's okay, I can readjust my thinking.
For some reason, I actually thought you were younger than me. Tumblr is 99% in one’s brain.

extraboneshq asked: quick reflex! when can i stock your stuff?
I don’t really have anything in print at the moment, but I’ll let you know as soon as I do. A few months ago, Trineo Editions published a comics/drawing zine of mine, which is still available… www.trineo.net
