Anonymous asked: Can you explain what Chancellor Cop is?
There is a county no one has ever heard of. The county’s political system is a complicated hierarchy of animals assigned to different tasks. For instance, Randy is the most powerful, being Grand Minister, the Wise Old Bird is Keeper of the Trees and the Breeze, Debbie is Factory Chairwoman, etc. The most important character for the “Chancellor Cop” series is Chancellor Dog, who finds a boy born out of smoke in the woods. No one in the county has ever seen a human before, but Chancellor Dog immediately recognizes him as “The First Flesh,” as told in an ancient and respected prophecy. Chancellor Dog names the boy Chancellor Cop (after himself, of course), and shifts his focus to teaching the boy the arts of grace and nobility and policemanship. Meanwhile, Randy hates the boy and wants him dead, and Chancellor Dog must protect and nurture him in clever secrecy. It’s a long story I have had planned out for years. It’s my Don Bluth feature film. I have recently started drawing it as a series of 12-page comic books, of which the first came out recently. Hopefully it will be about 500 pages when finished. It involves stretches of melting fences that go on forever, and Satan.
