Anonymous asked: What inspires your comics?
Limitations and fear.
realsubtle asked: I finally got my Debbie Duck Issue #1 in the mail! I really loved it. Do you have an estimate for when there might be more issues published?
I’m glad you liked it! The second issue is completely drawn… I just have to draw and color the covers and tenderly nurse it for print. The third issue is almost finished, also. I think it may be going to a very dark place, but I’m keeping it sunny for a while. Debbie is a character you can take to hell, and then she can have a normal day when the sun comes up.

nightlifeunlimited asked: I like you comics they remind me of an old cartoon that I never watched but is also what i see when i'm dying and when i'm dreaming.
That is very nice… thank you. I never want to swipe actual obvious specific imagery from old cartoons, as tempting as it may be, so I’m glad the feeling of antiquated cartoon mischief comes across somehow. Those cartoons are the saddest things in the world.
lainial asked: I really, really like your character designs. They're flumpy and cute and I want to (platonically) snuggle them.
The idea of my characters being cute is absolutely horrifying. They are not people I would want to spend any time with or look at in the eyes.
