Issues of my various series (Debbie, Chancellor Cop, Unfortunate Horse Magazine, etc.), plus a very long “graphic novel” type of project that I’ve been penciling feverishly lately. I’m on page 29. It fleshes out the location and lore of where my characters live, but in a very contradictory and non-permanent way. I also want to do something much looser and new and not using the same tricks I’ve been throwing into the hat over and over since I started drawing comics.
I’ve been drawing “Horror of the Gag” as a “real” (?) comic strip, scrawled on large horizontally formatted sheets. Throwing pennies into a wishing well.
