I draw comic books in the rural midwest. My books include “Chancellor Cop,” “Debbie,” “Big Dogs At Nite,” “Unfortunate Horse Magazine,” and “Forget Boring Truths,” among others. I draw the Internet comic strip “Horror of the Gag.” I graduated from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2008.
Some digital versions of comics I’ve done in 2014, yours for $2 each.
I can’t recall if I posted this cover here. This is coming out in a few days… “Forget Boring Truths.” The final cover will read “A ‘DEBBIE’ BOOK BY DANE MARTIN” at the bottom.
FORGET BORING TRUTHS [Release #8] Debbie runs away from her parents and learns that the world is fairly boring after all, and is made up of a series of disappointing jokes. 48 pages.
CHARM ON SUNDAYS [Release #9] A book of drawings. 32 pages.
ALONE IN THE THRONEROOM MAGAZINE[Release #10] The next issue in my “MAGAZINE” series. Stories about Walt Disney, confused cats, and soda fountains. 24 pages.
DEBBIE #3 [Release #11] Debbie gets home from her night walk and has an unfortunate slumber in issue 3 of her very own series. 20 pages.
HORROR OF THE GAG #2 [Release #12] The horse continues to question Debbie about her memories. Did Debbie have a farm? Did you have a farm? 24 pages.
All of these will available throughout the remainding days of this desert-dry August shadow month. Thanks.
After two years, I have access to a Playstation 3 again. If you give me your PSN usernames, or add me secretly, I would be delighted. Let’s be united in a world of filth. Mine is “ChancellorDog.”
I have a job interview at a video store today. I feel like it’s the only job I could do anymore. Meticulously cleaning crumpled-up VHS copies of the Lion King and Drivng Miss Daisy with a sponge.
