internethistory asked: We need more Debbie lore.
There will probably be about five or six more issues of the current storyline of my comic book “Debbie,” in which Debbie is tormented by the prospect that she is spending all her days working at a Campbell’s Soup Factory but witnesses the fall of her favorite bridge and realizes that she needs to drink some poison and dance tenderly in an empty field outside Teddy’s Ratshack. Another storyline will most likely follow in the pages of “Debbie” shortly thereafter. I want to do a story about her parents that may or may not be emotionally impossible to draw. She is the perfect character for me because she is everything and nothing at the same time. Her life is a series of upsetting contradictions.
