This is $300. I want it more than health and success.
Dogpenis Nose: the Great American Dane Martin/Brandon Elston/Milton Caniff Mash Up Song Book
Set 1: 5 of 9
Cartoonist Sean Ford leaves a collection of Milton Caniff’s “Steve Canyon” strips behind at the infamous “red house” in White River Junction, Vermont. Cartoonists Dane Martin and Brandon Elston augment this book with their own flourishes. Later, cartoonist J.T. Dockery, realizing the days in which the “red house” will no longer be the stronghold of cartoonists it once was rescues the book for safe-keeping back in his old Kentucky home.
“Every comic strip, regardless of style, is improved with the inclusion of a dogpenis nose.”—Dane Martin

A few years ago, I think in 2007 or 2008, one of my favorite living cartoonists, Brandon Elston, and I fixed every single character in a Steve Canyon collection. The characters now fluctuate between Carl Barks dog-people and owners of straightforward, fully formed dogpenis noses. You can see more examples at J.T. Dockery’s great blog.
